Uniform Card Policy

Introduction

At Prince Cards we strive to offer cards to players at the best possible price - it is our First Principle: Player First Pricing. Therefore, our policy is to treat all cards with like attributes as the same card. We believe this is beneficial to players as we keep prices lower, and is beneficial for us too as we simplify managing inventory.

We will only differentiate cards where a printing makes them a uniquely appealing edition (e.g. Cold Foil, Artwork, Extended Art).

Examples

  1. Mangle - at the time of writing Mangle has 6 printings (1HP051; CRU026; CRU026-RF; U-CRU026; U-CRU026-RF; AJV011) in English alone. We will offer two editions only:
    • Mangle (Regular)
    • Mangle (Rainbow Foil)
  1. Spinal Crush - at the time of writing Spinal Crush has 8 printings (1HP053; WTR044; WTR044-RF; U-WTR044; U-WTR044-RF; R-WTR044; R-WTR044-RF; APS010) in English alone. We will offer three editions only:
    • Spinal Crush (Alpha Print: Pink)
    • Spinal Crush (Alpha Print: Rainbow Foil)
    • Spinal Crush (Regular)
    • Spinal Crush (Rainbow Foil)

Definition

Uniform

Cards with the same name are considered 'uniform' as long as they share a name, are tournament legal, and irrespective of:

  • Border
  • Language
  • Set Release

Exclusions

Cards with the same name are not considered 'uniform' whenever they have differing attributes and/or combination of attributes:

  • Artwork 
  • Art Style (e.g. Extended Art vs Regular Art)
  • Print Finish (e.g. Cold Foil vs Rainbow Foil)
  • Special Editions (e.g. Alpha Print; Tournament Prize)

Pricing

Where cards are considered 'uniform' they will be subject to the same pricing at the same printing, in other words:

  • all editions of Mangle (Regular) will be $X
  • all editions of Mangle (Rainbow Foil) will be $Y
  • [if released] editions of Mangle (Cold Foil) will be $Z

Fulfilment

Where cards are considered 'uniform' they will be subject to fulfilment under the terms of this policy, meaning:

  • When purchasing Mangle (Regular) a player may receive:
    • JA_AJV011 Japanese language Mangle 
    • CRU-026 Crucible (1st Edition) Mangle
    • 1HP-051 History Pack (White Border) Mangle

We will use our absolute discretion whether we will accept any returns based on the implementation of this policy - a disclaimer will be added to all affected cards to make clear the impact to the consumer.

In the event that a consumer wishes to guarantee a specific print/edition of a card we recommend they contact us directly. Increased costs may occur depending on the nature of the request, however this will be disclosed before any agreement to purchase.
